After years of capturing the relationship between subjects and their environment, photographer John Madere decided to take his observations one step further and build a project around a backdrop that is universal but never fixed: Water. We curated the images and created a book to capture the mutability and quiet grace of the shore, the surf, and those who take pleasure in it. At its completion, the project was selected by Finch Paper as a vehicle to debut a new sheet, Finch Premium Blend.
